Volunteer Programs

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Wanda Janssens, is responsible for recruiting and managing the many volunteers that are a vital part of the programs and services that we offer as they are involved in every aspect of the Shilo MFRC. By investing some of their time and energy, our volunteers benefit by exploring new interests, making new friends, and developing their skills. Opportunities for volunteering are available in the following areas:

  • Program committees for adult, youth, children and outreach services
  • Special events organization
  • Membership on Board of Directors
  • Office work and clerical support
  • Teen, youth & children's activities
  • Warm Line Callers
  • Group Leaders for Playgroup & Adult Interest Groups
  • Adult group leadership
  • Workshop instruction
  • Thrift Shop
