Adult Programs

Adult Programs
Adult Education services include a variety of programs for adults. These programs are offered during the day and evening. We look for community input and develop a three-month schedule of workshops and courses. This schedule is included in the Shilo MFRC newsletter and is advertised in the Shilo Stag and the Shilo Community Events Calendar.
Programs may include:
- Workshops such as Tole Painting, Cooking & Baking courses, and Craft Workshops
- Educational Programs such as Computer Courses, and Home Buying Seminars
Second Language Training
We offer French and English language training courses during the day or evening. These programs usually run for 10 weeks. The cost for spouses of military members is absorbed by the MFRC. Childcare may be available.
French Connections
French Connections is designed for francophone members of the community. They meet on a weekly basis, Wednbesdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am, for coffee and discussion. One monthly activity is scheduled in the evenings - toutes en français!
